Corona virus update: COVID-19 pregnant mother dies in childbirth leaving 'doctors crying'

A mother in the United Kingdom, who was confirmed to have had a coronavirus, was reported to have died in childbirth.
The only ray of hope for a devastating death is the survival of her child, who at the moment does not appear to be infected with the deadly virus.
The British newspaper The Sun said it is not known if the woman has underlying health problems, adding that the pathologist is investigating the tragic circumstances.
A source told the newspaper, "In the midst of all the shock our NHS heroes have seen in crowded hospital wards, this tragedy has completely affected the staff."
The old hospital workers were crying. My only condolences is that the child survived the death of the mother. "
An investigation is still under way to determine the cause of the woman's death.
The source said that the woman proved that she was infected with coronavirus and that her diagnosis was not excluded as a reason.
The incomprehensible tragedy is said to have occurred at Whittington Hospital in Archway, north London.
"This case has been referred to the coroner, to determine the cause of death," said Whittington Health NHS Trust.
